R&D PROJECTS AT EMPC2007

Welcome to R&D Village

IMAPS, International Microelectronics And Packaging Society, is organising EMPC2007, European Microelectronics and Packaging Conference and Exhibition, to be held in Oulu, Finland, in June 17-20, 2007.

As Oulu is in itself a very hot region for hi-tech research we are helping European R&D projects to get visibility at our conference and exhibition and to disseminate their research activities, results, and networks and to discuss applications.

We invite all European R&D projects with relevance to micro- and nano- electronics to our special-built R&D Village where Project Consortia, Universities, Technology Villages and other Regional Research Consortia can display their research activities with the aim of finding interested partners, collaborators, applicants or buyers.

Our R&D Village plan is based on the idea of having mini stands, or groups of mini stands, placed ‘freely’ around the village center/market square, and in the market square we’ll have a few tables and chairs to help cross-communication between ‘villagers’.

This R&D Village, as the rest of Exhibition, is open to the general public and having the event in Oulu it is a guarantee on local hi-tech drop-ins coming to learn about hi-tech research activities in other parts of Europe.

To summarize:
Each booth/stand 1m x 2m = 2 sqm, including white wall elements on the back and sides, height 2,5m, white front/header board 30 cm high, 1 desk/ table.
Booths placed in single, double or triple sets/groups ‘freely’ around the village center/market square.
Light/lamp element 3 x 60W, electric plug for laptop or other low power use.
A few tables and chairs in the village center.
Additional services and facilities as needed, we welcome your inquiries.
Price of the booth 500 EUR (250 EUR/sqm) until 31.1.2007, after 1.2.2007 the price will be 600 EUR (300 EUR/sqm)
